Welcome to the portrait section of MSM Photography.

Mike will be working with a local body painting artist Kate Spinlesparks Dean on some projects soon.

In total contrast to many “High Street” photographers, I offer a personalised, relaxed and flexible approach which I believe achieves the best results for my clients.

Most importantly I do not operate from a studio, the majority of the images you will see here were taken at my home where clients can relax and feel less pressured than they might at a studio.

Occasionally I will shoot either at a client’s home or on location. After the session no pressure is applied to buy prints, if I have done a good job the pictures will do the selling for me.

In the portrait gallery you will see everything from babies through children to adults and pregnant mums to be, the aim is the same with all of these, get them relaxed in front of the camera and the results are plain to see.

This is especially important with pregnancy shoots, as many mums to be are very self conscious of their bodies at this stage and for this reason I always have one of my adult daughters assist on these shoots.
